These change your valuation
The figure above is the plain one: notified rate x area. The Department's own valuation adds to or subtracts from it for the things below. It has not published those percentages anywhere, so we do not guess at them. If any of these apply to your property, get the final figure from SAMPADA's own valuation.

Common questions
What percentage does a registry cost in Madhya Pradesh?
A sale deed attracts 12.5% in all: 5% principal stamp duty, 3% municipal duty, 1% janpad duty, 0.5% upkar and a 3% registration fee. Those are the five components SAMPADA 2.0 lists in its fee detail. The registration fee is never below ₹1,000.
Why do so many sites say 10.5%?
They leave out the janpad duty and the upkar, treating stamp duty as 7.5% and adding a 3% registration fee. The Department's chart has five components, not three. Going in with the smaller number leaves you short at the counter, so we show the Department's figure.
Is duty charged on the deal price or the guideline value?
On whichever is higher. If the guideline value for your colony comes to more than the agreed price, the duty is charged on the guideline value.
How much does buying in a woman's name save?
The registration fee drops from 3% to 1%, so you save 2% of the value. Stamp duty is unchanged. The condition is that the document is entirely in a woman's name.
