When does the guideline rate change?
A new guideline takes effect on 1 April each year. This site carries the notified 2026-27 rates.
What unit are the rates in?
Plot and built-up rates are per square metre. Agricultural rates are per hectare.
My colony is not in the list — what now?
Search a short part of the name: the notification often groups several colonies into one row. If it is still missing, browse the tehsil list, or tell us and we will find your location.
Is rate x area the final valuation?
No. That is the plain part. Road frontage, a corner plot, which floor of a multi-storey building, the age of construction — all of these change the figure in the Department's valuation. Get the final valuation from SAMPADA.
